Justice Committee hears evidence from Justice Secretary for first time

The Justice Committee met yesterday Tuesday 26th June, at 10.30am in Committee Room 1.

The main item of business was evidence to be taken from the Justice Secretary and supporting civil servants on Scottish Executive priorities for the Justice portfolio. There will also be discussion on the legislative consent memorandum in relation to the Serious Crime Bill (UK legislation). The Committee also considered its work programme.
